The company's job is ownership, oversight, and separation — making sure each practice runs on its own footing and that neither one's obligations become the other's problem.
Structure
Ramer Enterprise LLC is a limited liability company organized under Oregon law (registration 1768682-98). It holds two operating practices:
- Chipshot Labs, a security assessment practice.
- Straylight Forge, a role-playing-based programs practice, currently in development and not yet operating.
The two practices serve unrelated markets and operate as independent DBAs of Ramer Enterprise LLC. This is deliberate. A security engagement and a youth program carry different risks, different insurance, and different obligations; keeping them structurally distinct protects clients of each from the exposures of the other.
How we operate
- Separation first. Each practice keeps its own records, contracts, and commitments.
- Say only what is verifiable. Every claim we publish about credentials, experience, or capability can be checked. In a business built on trust, an inflated claim is a liability, not marketing.
- Publish the rules we follow. Our policies are public and written in plain language. We do not publish a policy we do not follow.
- Minimal by design. This site collects no personal data beyond standard server logs. There are no cookies, no trackers, and no advertising.
Governance
Ramer Enterprise LLC is founder-led. Day-to-day delivery is the responsibility of each practice; parent-level decisions on capital, standards, and policy are set at the holding company level. Governing authority: founder/sole member manager.
Operating principles
- Evidence-based. Every recommendation in security assessment is grounded in published frameworks (NIST CSF, etc.). We do not sell opinions; we sell measured outcomes.
- Transparent. Scope is defined in writing. Process is documented. Findings are accurate and delivered completely.
- Separate and accountable. Each practice's success is its own responsibility. Neither practice's failure becomes the other's liability.
- Regarding Straylight Forge (under development): Every clinical program is supervised by a licensed clinician. We will sell licensed care alongside responsible entertainment.
