Accessibility statement

Our target

This site is built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which is backward compatible with WCAG 2.1 AA — the standard most accessibility enforcement references. We treat accessibility as part of building the site correctly, not as an add-on.

What we have done

  • Built the site as semantic HTML with keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
  • Used descriptive alt text, logical heading hierarchy, and meaningful link text throughout.
  • Honored prefers-reduced-motion — no animation beyond a focus transition, regardless.
  • Wired automated checks (axe-core, Lighthouse CI, pa11y-ci) into CI on every change, gating the build.

Most recent review

Not yet performed. The manual verification pass — keyboard-only navigation, two screen readers, 200% zoom and 400% reflow at 320px, contrast verification, and forced-colors mode — runs before launch, per the project plan’s Phase 4 and definition of done. This section will be updated with the date and findings once that pass is complete; an empty result before the audit has run is a placeholder, not a claim of conformance.

Known limitations

None identified yet — pending the manual audit above.

What we do not do

We do not use an accessibility overlay or “one-line” accessibility script. Overlays do not fix underlying markup, and sites carrying them are disproportionately represented in accessibility litigation.

Reporting a problem

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, tell us: contact@ramerenterprise.com. Include the page URL and, if you can, what assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers promptly.

Ongoing commitment

This statement is reviewed at every substantive content change and at least annually, with the audit date above updated each time.
